The Centre is Western Australia’s largest and only purpose built convention, exhibition and meeting centre and is located in the heart of Perth’s Central Business District. The centre is conveniently located within close proximity to numerous hotels, restaurants and shopping and is easily accessible by public transport.

CME Member Fee
Early Bird (to 10/02/12): $902 ($820 + $82 GST)
Regular (from 11/02/12): $1,012 ($920 + $92 GST)
Non-CME Member Fee
Early Bird (to 10/02/12): $1,012 ($920 + $92 GST)
Regular (from 11/02/12): $1,122 ($1,020 + $102 GST)
Payment & Invoices
Payment is required at the time of registration only via credit card (MasterCard or Visa only) or cheque made payable to ‘The Chamber of Minerals and Energy WA Inc.’ Overseas delegates – if paying by cheque, only a bank draft in Australian dollars will be accepted. Purchase orders will NOT be accepted as payment.
Please Note: Early Bird registration fees which have not been received prior to 10/02/2012 will be re-invoiced at the standard rate from 11/02/2012.
A tax invoice will be issued, in conjunction with the registration confirmation, by the Conference Secretariat, EECW Pty Ltd. Should there be a requirement for the tax invoice to be sent to a different party, as a cover note/email to the registration please advise the name, address and ABN of the recipient of the tax invoice – that is, the organisation undertaking registration payment.
Please keep a copy of the registration form for financial and GST records.
Invoices will remain outstanding until payment has been received as per the above conditions.
How to Register
Registration is available online or by completing the registration form and returning it to the Conference Secretariat. Registrations will not be accepted over the telephone or without completing a registration form.
Register individually on the registration form (photocopies accepted) and return via fax or post to the Conference Secretariat. On-line registration is available through the conference web site www.cmewa.com.au
There is no requirement for pre-registration for the conference concurrent workshops.
Confirmation of Registration
Registrations will be processed within five working days of receipt of the registration. A registration confirmation letter, invoice and receipt (where applicable) will be sent via email, fax or post. If payment is not received with the registration, conference attendance is tentative and not confirmed until payment is received.
Cancellation Policy and Non-Attendance
All cancellations or alterations to the registration must be made in writing to the Conference Secretariat - EECW. All refunds as per the policy below will be paid after the conclusion of the conference. If a registered delegate is unable to attend the conference, a substitute delegate is welcome to attend. Details must be advised in writing to the Conference Secretariat.

Before 29 February 2012: Full refund of registration fee
After 1 March 2012: No refund but a substitute delegate will be accepted.

Prize Draw at Conference Plenary Closing Session
Delegates attending the closing session on Tuesday 27 March will be in the draw for the opportunity to win an adventure prize.

The Registration Desk will be located in the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, Ballroom Foyer and will be open as follows:

Communication
All communication with delegates will be via email, fax or post. If registration confirmation is not received within five working days, please contact the Conference Secretariat – EECW Pty Ltd.

Dress Standard
Conference Sessions: Smart Casual
Conference & Innovation Awards Dinner: Business Smart Casual. Clothing such as shorts and thongs is inappropriate for the dinner.
Indemnity
Neither the Chamber of Minerals & Energy of Western Australia Inc nor the Conference Organisers will accept liability for damages of any nature sustained by delegates or their accompanying persons for loss or damage to their personal property as a result of the CME 2012 Safety and Health Conference. If for any reason outside the control of the Conference Organisers, the venue or speakers change, or the event is cancelled, the Conference Organisers shall endeavour to reschedule, but the delegate hereby indemnifies and holds the Conference Organisers, including but not limited to the Chamber of Minerals & Energy of Western Australia and EECW Pty Ltd, harmless from and against any and all costs, damages and expenses. This agreement is subject to the laws of Australia and a registration submission ensures acceptance of this indemnity.
Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that all delegates take out personal travel and medical insurance prior to the conference.
Parking
The City of Perth car park, located beneath the PCEC, is often full from 8.00am. Single-entry parking at $28 per bay (subject to change) can be pre-booked via the registration process. Parking vouchers will be posted to the address provided at the time of registration, prior to the conference.
Accommodation
Delegates are responsible for organising their own accommodation. Special rates have been secured at the following hotels - however rooms are subject to availability and will be released on 29 February 2012. We strongly advise delegates to book accommodation early.
