Glenn Stevens was appointed Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia on 18 September 2006.
Prior to this appointment he held a number of senior positions with the RBA, including Deputy Governor, Assistant Governor (Economic), Head of International Department and Head of Economic Analysis Department.
In addition to his role of Governor, Mr Stevens also serves as Chairman of the Reserve Bank Board, Payments System Board, Council of Financial Regulators and Financial Markets Foundation for Children. He also serves as Director of The Anika Foundation.
