CME WOMEN IN RESOURCES AWARDS

Recognising the Power of Diversity in the WA Resources Sector

                             

Established in 2010, the Women in Resources Awards (WIRA) recognise individuals and organisations working to build a world-class industry which provides attractive career opportunities and enhances the recognition and participation of women in the sector.

The entry process encourages individuals and companies to reflect on their achievements and the impact they have made to help encourage the participation of women in the WA resources sector.

  • (aged 30 years or younger as at 31 December 2014)

Awards Process

1. Nomination

A candidate is nominated by a colleague, professional contact or company.  Nominations open 26th September 2014 and close on 7th November 2014 at 5pm.

2. Submission Entry

The nominator completes the candidate’s submission online.  The entry submission deadline is 7 November 2014 2014 at 5pm.

3. Nomination Workshop

CME will be holding a nomination workshop, to assist companies to plan and prepare nominations for WIRA.  The workshop will be held at CME on Friday 10 October from 12noon to 1pm.  Contact Anne at events@cmewa.com to register your interest to attend the workshop.

4. Awards Breakfast Event

Award finalists will be honored and winners announced at the CME Women in Resources Awards breakfast (Friday 6 March 2015), coinciding with International Women’s Day celebrations, hosted by popular media personality and political commentator Annabel Crabb.
